More Information

The North Bay Opera Guild "Friends of the Opera" has approximately one hundred members. The Guild holds numerous fundraisers for the opera company, hosts an opera gala for opening nights, provides housing for singers, assists with auditions and rehearsals, and holds the annual Young Performers Concert for singers ages 14 through 18 years old. Members receive a bi-monthly newsletter with advance notices of upcoming programs. For membership information:

North Bay Opera relies on dedicated people to undertake a variety of duties. Becoming a  volunteer is a great way to show your support for quality musical productions and community outreach. Volunteers can really make a difference.

  • Become a Board of Directors or committee member

  • Provide housing or transportation for performers

  • Production support for auditions, rehearsals, or performances

  • General support: serving refreshments, greeting and seating guests, cleaning up, etc.
